Filmmaking icon Steven Spielberg has heaped praise on director Denis Villeneuve’s critically acclaimed sci-fi epic Dune 2, calling it “one of the most brilliant science fiction films” he has ever seen. The directors appeared together on a recent episode of The Director's Cut - A DGA Podcast, with Spielberg gushing over the Dune sequel and a particular scene involving the giant sandworms that inhabit the desert planet Arrakis.
