Supreme Leader Snoke is one of the most intriguing characters in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, despite - or perhaps because - so little has still been revealed about him. Portrayed by Andy Serkis, Supreme Leader Snoke was set up as a major villain in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, only to be unexpectedly slain by his own apprentice, Kylo Ren, in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Snoke's origin and backstory were thus left a mystery.
