The clone troopers that made up the army of Star Wars’ Galactic Republic were, unsurprisingly, clones of one man named Jango Fett, and there are several reasons he was the perfect choice for the clones’ model. Jango Fett was a Mandalorian bounty hunter in the service of Count Dooku, though this job on Kamino is much different from what his normal roles might normally entail. Choosing him as the template for all the Republic's clone troopers wasn’t something that Dooku took lightly, and there were many factors that made him the ideal selection.
