One Piece season 2 will be decidedly different from its first season given the stakes, characters, and locations the Straw Hat Pirates will encounter.
After the critical plaudits that One Piece enjoyed, the second season looks to carry the momentum, albeit with three major changes. With One Piece season 2 in development, viewers will see the Straw Hat Pirates once again embark on their journey to reach the Grand Line. Although One Piece will have to make changes from the manga in season 2 to improve the live-action adaptation's pacing, it will still be a largely faithful depiction of the Straw Hat Pirates' next journey. However, the handling of the source material's pacing in season 1 still bodes well for One Piece season 2.
