Fish food items are important in Stardew Valley, giving you a way to help your character recover or a source of money if you sell them at various markets. A new way of cooking has been introduced in the 1.6 update that lets you smoke caught fish. The benefits of fish increase when you smoke them in a unique piece of Artisan Equipment you can craft from a specific recipe.
