Colin Farrell has promised that The Penguin will be a "twisted” and “incredibly violent” spin-off series from The Batman. Oswald "Oz" Cobblepot, played by Farrell, managed to survive the Riddler’s (Paul Dano) watery carnage at the conclusion of Robert Pattinson's 2022 movie, and now it's Oz's time for exploiting crime in the next chapter of the DC Elseworlds saga. While participating in a recent interview promoting Season 1 of his Apple TV+ show Sugar, Farrell teased a "dark, and really heavy" addition to the DC franchise.
