With the firing of Melissa Barrera following social media posts concerning the Israel-Hamas War, some fans can't get behind a Neve Campbell return.
In years past, Neve Campbell's return to the Scream franchise would be met with universal praise. The actress has played one of the horror genre's favorite final girls since the first entry in 1996 and has only missed out on one installment (more on that later) among the six released films. Mar. 12 should've been like history repeating itself when Campbell took to her Instagram account to post an image of the Scream 7 script with the news that she would be returning to play Sidney Prescott once again and that Kevin Williamson, the man who started this all in 1996 with his game-changing script, would be stepping in to direct.
