Beetlejuice 2 Confirms Its Replacement For Tim Burton Actor's Fan-Favorite Original Character
One new character in Beetlejuice 2 suggests a favorite from past Tim Burton movies, including 1988’s Beetlejuice, is getting somewhat replaced.
Justin Theroux has joined Beetlejuice 2 in a new role, but his involvement could essentially replace a beloved character from the original movie. Arriving 36 years after Tim Burton introduced Beetlejuice to the world, the infamous bio-exorcist from the Neitherworld is back, and he’s not alone. Aside from Michael Keaton’s return in Beetlejuice 2, the sequel will see original characters Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) and Delia Deetz (Catherine O’Hara) wrapped up in another mess involving the afterlife. For this wild adventure, however, newcomers like Justin Theroux and Jenna Ortega will be along for the ride.
