Young Sheldon season 7 explains why Georgie uncharacteristically made a disparaging comment about Missy in The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon may be the headlining character of the prequel, and understandably so, considering his history in the main series, but in recent years, Young Sheldon has also increased its focus on his siblings. As part of its storytelling diversification, the CBS premier comedy/drama has given both Georgie and Missy their respective arcs separate from their ties to their genius brother. Oddly, some of their plots are even more compelling than Sheldon's.
