Mark Wahlberg’s Arthur the King is struggling at the box office in its first weekend. It follows Wahlberg's Michael Light, an endurance racer who meets a stray dog that follows him everywhere he goes. The dog, Arthur, clings to Light throughout a long race and becomes a veritable mascot for Light's team. The movie is based on the true story told in Mikael Lindnord and Val Hudson's book, Arthur - The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home.
