The horror genre has been dominated by trends in recent years, and the newest one joining the fun is making horror versions of family-friendly characters and stories. The project that gave a boost to this trend was Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and based on A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard’s Winnie-the-Pooh books, as the first book is now public domain.
