Why Young Sheldon Doesn't Have A New Episode Tonight (March 21)
Young Sheldon season 7 is taking a mini-break in an already shortened final year. However, this hiatus shouldn't be a surprise, considering CBS' past.
There won't be a new episode of Young Sheldon season 7 on March 21, and there's a good reason why. Like its parent series, The Big Bang Theory prequel is ending despite its continued popularity. If it was solely up to CBS, Young Sheldon would continue to be on the air for as long as possible, considering that it is currently TV's number 1 comedy. Unfortunately, its creatives' insistence that it exists in the same universe as the nerd-centric sitcom forces it to wrap up its narrative when Sheldon moves to Pasadena, California after graduating from college.
