A new board game based on Cyberpunk 2077 has been announced. Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk universe originated in the Tabletop RPG genre decades before CD Projekt Red's acclaimed video game brought it more to the wider gaming mainstream audience. While there was already a Cyberpunk 2077 board game by CMON, called Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City, this seemed focused on the titular gangs in its world, rather than V's journey, so it seems fitting that CD Projekt Red would eventually bring V's story back to the franchise's tabletop roots as well.
