The 1955 movie Guys and Dolls is undoubtedly one of the greatest musical movies ever made, but there were remake plans that haven't come to fruition. Adapted from the 1950 musical, Guys and Dolls looked at the lives of gamblers and missionaries living in the hustle of New York City; it tells the overlapping stories of high-rolling gambler Sky Masterson and bundling con artist Nathan Detroit. To earn enough money for a location for his game, Nathan bets Sky to take a woman to Havana on a date, choosing the uptight missionary Sarah Brown; Sky agrees to the bet, but he finds himself falling in love with Sarah, complicating matters.
