Power Rangers’ next show, which is expected to be a new beginning for the franchise after Cosmic Fury, would benefit from using a major villain introduced eight years ago. Following Power Rangers Cosmic Fury’s ending, which brought the series full circle and even revisited Zordon, it’s unclear what the saga’s next project will be. In 2020, a new Power Rangers universe consisting of TV and film projects was announced to be in the works, suggesting the next series will be a reboot rather than another Super Sentai adaptation.
