The Librarians' new sequel spinoff show, The Next Chapter, finalizes its cast list with five new actors signing on for roles on the CW series.
The Librarians: The Next Chapter, the sequel spinoff to the popular TNT sci-fi fantasy series The Librarians, has finalized the main cast. The original adventure show initially premiered in 2014, itself a spin-off of the Librarian film series, and ran for four seasons on TNT before it was canceled by the network in 2018. The show starred Rebecca Romijn, Lindy Booth, and Christian Kane, as members of an organization tasked with protecting the world from a magical hidden reality and supernatural threats. Although TNT canceled The Librarians, The CW announced that it had greenlit a spinoff show in May 2023.
