The LEGO Movie 3 is on the way, and it means big changes for the beloved franchise. Warner Bros. no longer has the rights to the LEGO Movie franchise, and it has instead moved on to Universal. A new LEGO Movie is in the works, and the cameos and characters used in the next movie won't be from Warner Brothers' LEGO universe. This means none of the characters from the first two films will appear, since their likeness stays with Warner. However, this does open the door for new characters and cameos, as franchises like Jurassic World and Fast & Furious are Universal's and perfect for the LEGO Movie treatment.
