The Batman Wins Plagiarism Court Battle as Judge Finds in Favor of Matt Reeves & Warner Bros.
Warner Bros. and Matt Reeves have now been cleared of charges against them for plagiarism over The Batman script.
The delay in the production of its sequel is not the only conflict surrounding The Batman. The 2022 film directed by Matt Reeves was recently accused of plagiarism, but a judge has now ultimately ruled in favor of the director and Warner Bros. Entertainment. The movie starring Robert Pattinson was one of DC's greatest hits on the big screen in recent years, to the point that it managed to survive the reboot that James Gunn is now carrying out. The film, which pays tribute to classic thrillers such as Seven and Zodiac, was very well received by fans for exploring the skills of The Dark Knight as a detective.
