Battle Droids have been a major part of Star Wars since the prequel trilogy, and now they're making a comeback with "the most advanced design yet"!

Battle Droids were some of the deadliest weapons used for interplanetary warfare in the Star Wars galaxy during the Clone Wars era, but after the fall of the Jedi and the rise of the First Galactic Empire, they mostly became obsolete. However, it seems Battle Droids weren’t as obsolete during the Galactic Civil War era as fans thought, as Star Wars debuted a new design for ‘the most advanced Battle Droids yet’.
