Apple TV+'s new comedy series Palm Royale is set in Palm Beach, Florida in 1969, with many of its characters belonging to an exclusive country club.
Palm Royale, a period comedy miniseries about Palm Beach high society, just premiered its first three episodes on Apple TV+. The first few episodes introduced Maxine Dellacorte Simmons, the rest of the Palm Royale cast and characters, and Palm Beach high society in the late 1960s. Palm Royale is based on the 2018 book Mr. & Mrs. American Pie by Juliet McDaniel and was created by Abe Sylvia, who is known for his work on Dead to Me and The Eyes of Tammy Faye. With its setting, characters, and mystery, Palm Royale could replace the White Lotus.
