How X-Men Could Replace The Avengers as Marvel's Main Franchise

Regarding the face of Marvel, the company's biggest singular hero has been Spider-Man. Yet following Dinsey's acquisition of Marvel in 2009 and the box office smash hit of The Avengers in 2012, the heroes that encompass Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the team itself have become the name most associated with Marvel, where even the lands in Disney theme parks are called the Avengers Campus. The MCU took B-list heroes like Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America and made them pop culture icons known the world over to the point that Avengers: Endgame is one of the highest-grossing movies of all time. This wasn't always the case; in fact, for years, Marvel's biggest title was The X-Men.
