Hans Zimmer to Tour Dune, Interstellar, and Other Scores in Live Concerts
The famous film composer is going on tour in North America with an 18-piece live band and orchestra, with tickets on sale March 22.
Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer is getting a lot of praise right now thanks to his scores for both of the biggest films at the box office right now, Dune: Part II and Kung Fu Panda 4. They follow hundreds of projects that have made him one of the greatest film composers of all time. He's the man behind The Lion King score (and its remake), The Pirate of the Caribbean movies, Christopher Nolan's films, Rain Man, Twister, Driving Miss Daisy, Thelma & Louise, The Thin Red Line, Gladiator, A League of Their Own, The Ring, and so much more. The combined box office gross from the films he's scored exceeds $28 billion.
