Forget About Jedi & Sith, The Acolyte Is Even Bigger - & That's Great For Star Wars' Future
The Acolyte isn’t the Sith-centered series we thought it’d be; its actually broadening Star Wars’ view of the Force more than we thought.
The first trailer for The Acolyte proves the series has a much broader view of the Force than the dogmatic view of the Jedi and the Sith. Initially, many expected The Acolyte to be Star Wars’ first Sith-centered series, focusing on how the Sith cult survived unnoticed by the Jedi for a millennium. And while there was certainly a mysterious unnamed Sith at the end of the trailer, the vast majority of The Acolyte’s revealed cast are Jedi. The Jedi seem busy fighting the mysterious Sith, while Amanda Stenberg’s Mae character may end up changing the franchise forever.
