A new preview of The Acolyte featuring exclusive footage will be released on the big screen alongside Star Wars: The Phantom Menace's theatrical 25th-anniversary release in May. Set 100 years before the events of the prequel trilogy during the closing days of the High Republic era, the new Star Wars show explores a string of Jedi murders that shake the order as plots fall into place in the shadows of the galaxy. Twenty-five years after its initial release, the tale of Anakin Skywalker's (Jake Lloyd) induction into the Jedi Order during a time of crisis will return to theaters.
