The trailer for The Acolyte has revealed many new Star Wars characters, here is a breakdown of each character and who is playing them on the series.
It has been four years since Leslye Headland announced she was developing a Star Wars series. Titled The Acolyte, it sounded like an exciting development in the Star Wars franchise. It would not be set in the typical time period of the franchise, instead diving into the High Republic era of stories, which debuted in 2021. The show is set 100 years before the events of The Phantom Menace and explores the galaxy through the perspective of the Sith. With the Jedi at the height of their power, the Sith are now the underdogs, which makes for an interesting hook for the series.
