While billion-dollar movies are slowly becoming more common, there are still very few actors who have worked on different billion-dollar franchises, let alone released two movies to cross that threshold back to back. In 1998, Titanic became the first movie to ever earn more than a billion dollars on its release. However, it took 5 more years for another movie to reach that same milestone, with The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King becoming the second in 2003.
