Dune 3 Now Officially in Development, Denis Villeneuve Will Complete His Sci-Fi Epic Trilogy
Following the huge success of Dune 2, Dune: Messiah is now officially in development at Legendary.
The third (and final) movie in the Dune franchise, Dune 3, aka Dune: Messiah, has now officially been given the greenlight by Legendary Pictures. As per a report by Deadline, in which it is revealed that Dune 2 director Denis Villeneuve will also helm an adaptation of the nonfiction book Nuclear War: A Scenario, Dune 3 will be Villeneuve’s next project, wrapping up the sci-fi epic trilogy.
