Dragon Ball GT is possibly the most contentious part of the Dragon Ball franchise, but the series' ending deserves an entirely different debate. After a show that did not always make sense and stepped very far away from Akira Toriyama's original Dragon Ball vision, the ending of the series, while still leaving a lot to the viewer's interpretation, is its highest point, but it also proves why Dragon Ball GT was a mistake.
