New comic-inspired fan art imagines what David Corenswet's Man of Steel might have looked like in the pages of the DCU's DC Comics source material.
David Corenswet's Clark Kent takes center-stage in new DC Comics-inspired fan art ahead of the release of Superman, the first feature film in the rebooted DC Universe. James Gunn announced the development of Superman - then named Superman: Legacy - in January 2023, shortly after his and Peter Safran's hiring as co-CEOs of DC Studios. Superman will kick off the new DCU in July 2025, while 2024's Creature Commandos will provide a taste of what's to come. Hollywood's David Corenswet is taking over from Henry Cavill as Clark Kent's Superman, and production is well underway on his first DCU project.
