During the 2024 Game Developers Conference, developer Larian officially announced that it won't be developing any DLC, expansions, or sequels to Baldur's Gate 3, as reported by IGN. Whatever Larian's next game will be, according to studio founder and director of BG3 Swen Vincke, it won't have anything to do with Dungeons & Dragons.
