American Idol’s Alyssa Raghu Defends Herself After Being Accused Of Hijacking Friend’s Audition

American Idol season 22 contestant Alyssa Raghu is defending herself after being accused of taking over her best friend Julia Davo's audition, and earning a golden ticket for herself instead. Julia sang for the judges, Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan, but she didn't make it to Hollywood. Alyssa, who also made it to the Top 24 in American Idol season 16 and the Top 8 in American Idol season 17, then auditioned too. Katy said no for her to go to Hollywood because she didn't think that she could win, but Luke and Lionel gave her a golden ticket.
