Aaron Taylor-Johnson As James Bond Would Break A 55-Year-Old 007 Casting Trend
With the possibility of Aaron Taylor-Johnson set to play James Bond, his casting could end an interesting streak set by the previous actors.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson's possible casting as the next leading man of the James Bond franchise would mean the end of a casting streak that's been in place since 1969. While the trend seems largely incidental, the choice of Taylor-Johnson to follow Daniel Craig as 007 could arguably make a statement that goes far beyond the former's immense acting talents. When every Aaron Taylor-Johnson movie is taken into account, the actor's first Bond film would arguably be his biggest role yet.
