A Piece of Anime History Recovered - Lost Anime Episodes Finally Become Available After Decades of Being Lost
Missing episodes from the original Astro Boy series have surprisingly turned up in Japan, and are being streamed on local services in the country.
Missing episodes from the venerable 1963 Astro Boy anime were streamed for the first time earlier this month. The news was first broken by Tezuka Productions itself, during an announcement unveiling a new free channel for a streaming service. Only two of the three missing Astro Boy episodes have been broadcast thus far, technically leaving the series incomplete, though the reveal of episodes 125 and 127 is still shocking in their casualness.
