Obi-Wan may have been Anakin's master, but that does not mean he was the best choice for the job. There are many Jedi who may have been a better fit.
One of the most pivotal questions in all of Star Wars revolves around whether Obi-Wan Kenobi was a good master for Anakin Skywalker. After all, Anakin’s fall to the dark side is one of the most important plot points in the entire series, as is the death of Qui-Gon Jinn, Anakin’s original master. This has left many to speculate what might have happened should Qui-Gon have survived his encounter with Darth Maul.
