Created by Leslye Headland, The Acolyte is set at the tail end of the High Republic Era - and it promises to scratch an itch viewers have had since 1977. The Acolyte's first trailer ends with a group of Jedi standing in front of a mysterious stranger with a red lightsaber - clearly setting up a Jedi versus Sith battle.
