Many fans were excited to see more of Din Djarin's face after he took off his helmet in The Mandalorian season 2, but Din Djarin actor Brendan Wayne explained how it's actually good that he left it on. While there are some loopholes that allowed Din to take his helmet off, the reason he did it at the end of The Mandalorian season 2 should have meant he could never put it back on. That only made his decision to say goodbye to Grogu face to face even more momentous, but he ended up putting the helmet back on.
