Star Trek: Discovery's season 5 cancelation doesn't mean the series wasn't a huge success that ushered in a new generation of Star Trek TV shows, says Roddenberry Entertainment executive Trevor Roth. Star Trek: Discovery season 5 premieres Thursday, April 4, on Paramount+, and it's the final season of the series led by Sonequa Martin-Green as Captain Michael Burnham. Roth is Chief Operating Officer and executive producer of Roddenberry Entertainment, and he and CEO Rod Roddenberry focus on making sure the new Star Trek series reflect the vision and values of Gene Roddenberry.
