Shirley continues an incredible streak for King.
Shirley is the latest Rotten Tomatoes success for Regina King. Directed by John Ridley, the movie follows trailblazer Shirley Chisolm (Regina King) through the true story of her race to become both the first Black and the first female United States President in 1972. Shirley debuted on Netflix on March 22 after a small theatrical run and has an all-star cast, including King, the late Lance Reddick, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Terrence Howard, and more leading actors.
