Summer's over, folks, and so now here comes the cold water. Well, Coldwater, to be more accurate. Yes, on this week's Pilot TV Podcast we're delighted to be joined by Andrew Lincoln and writer David Ireland, who took some time to discuss their chilly — and chilling — new ITV thriller with our very own Boyd Hilton. [23:55 — 44:34).
Back in the pod booth then, the gang — James Dyer, Kay Ribeiro, and Boydy — convene for a speed run of an episode in which the team mulls over the question of whether we actually take TV (or film, or book) recommendations from other people. Over on the news front, the gang gets stuck into the latest goings on in the telly world, including the NTAs, news of Life Is Strange and The Conjuring TV series, and The White Lotus Season 4 jetting off to France. And then, despite time constraints, our intrepid trio still find time to dig into this week’s crop of shows — namely Netflix’s brotherly strife miniseries Black Rabbit, Prime Video’s second series of The Boys spinoff Gen V, and the second series of Mawaan Rizwan’s Juice on BBC Three. Enjoy!
