Paddington In Peru Trailer Has The Brown Family Searching For The Lost City Of El Dorado

You’ve swooned for Baby Groot. You’ve “aww”ed at Baby Yoda. But are you ready for the fluffy little bundle of adorable that is Baby Paddington? Because in the latest trailer for Paddington In Peru, Dougal Wilson’s hotly anticipated upcoming Brown family threequel, Baby Paddington is exactly what we get. As well as more of Antonio Banderas’ _Puss In Boots_ian riverboat captain, more of Olivia Colman’s sus singing nun, and… a quest to find the mythical lost city of El Dorado? Pack your bags — we’re off to Peru! Check out the trailer below;

Do you hear that? It’s the sound of a huge sigh of relief — it looks like our favourite marmalade-loving spectacled bear is in safe hands. In fairness, the first couple of teasers for the new film never really had us in any doubt — but this latest look at the movie, with its even emphases on the heartstring tugging plot involving Paddington’s homecoming and search for his beloved Aunt Lucy, more-often-than-not marmalade involving comedy pratfalls, and what appears to be a proper throwback, rip-roaring adventure for the Browns as they seek out a lost city deep in the Peruvian jungle, has us beaming ear-to-ear. And then, of course, you've got *those* flashbacks to Paddington's cubhood with his aunt and uncle, which shows off not only the film's clear sense of heart and soul, but also the continually impressive CG that helps bring the Ben Whishaw voiced bear to life.

And here’s the all-important official synopsis for the film: “Paddington In Peru brings Paddington's story to Peru as he returns to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. With the Brown Family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and up to the mountain peaks of Peru.” Of course, back for this one we also have Hugh Bonneville's Mr. Brown, Julie Walters' Mrs. Bird, and — with the same name but a new, Emily Mortimer shaped face — Mrs. Brown, as well as Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin's Judy and Jonathan Brown.

Will the Browns find out where Aunt Lucy's gotten to? Will Paddington prove the key to finding El Dorado? And is Olivia Colman really just a kindly, singing nun after all? (Not likely — we're watching you, Colman!) We'll find out when Paddington In Peru hits cinemas on 8 November.
