Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum is down to return to the role of Lex Luthor in a potential DC movie with his cast members. Before The CW had the Arrowverse, Smallville was one of the flagship shows of the network, as it carried over from The WB when they merged with UPN in 2006. Had it not been for Smallville's success, the era of Greg Berlanti's Arrowverse franchise wouldn't have been possible, as the Superman live-action TV show paved the way for more comic book properties on the small screen.
