And now, ahead of starring in Mike Flanagan's upcoming The Life Of Chuck and reprising the role of Stu in next year's Scream VII, Lillard is already lining up another eye-catching role — as the latest addition to the ever-expanding MCU.

Per Deadline's reporting, Lillard has just signed on to star in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which sources have confirmed is set to enter production next week. Who exactly Lillard will play in the series, a revival of Netflix's wildly popular mid-2010s take on Matt Murdock's Man With No Fear, remains shrouded in secrecy at this stage. And given Lillard's capacity for playing roles all across the spectrum of morality — and Marvel's famously strong willed approach to avoiding anything even remotely spoilerific — whether he'll be in league with Charlie Cox's 'Devil, cosying up to Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, or doing his own thing entirely is anyone's guess.
