Jurassic World 4’s New Era Means It Can Avoid The Franchise's Most Ridiculous Dinosaur Problem
Jurassic World 4 promises to be a new era for the franchise, and this means the series can finally stop revisiting one recent recurring mistake.
While Jurassic World 4 isn’t guaranteed to save the franchise, the reboot can at least fix one major issue with its most recent trilogy. The Jurassic World trilogy started strong before its sequels grew increasingly silly. 2015’s Jurassic World saw director Colin Trevorrow expand the scope of the original movie, envisioning a fully operational version of Jurassic Park packed with paying guests. However, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom took this premise too far by unleashing dinosaurs on the entirety of human civilization, while Jurassic World Dominion proceeded to largely ignore this major twist with a story of corporate espionage.
