While nothing has been confirmed by Marvel Studios, the potential return of Loki in the MCU has been the burning question since the end of season 2 of the show. Given that Loki's character underwent such a strong, emotionally impactful arc across the show's two seasons, returning for a third could prove to be a mistake for Marvel Studios.
