Denis Villeneuve Will Only Make Dune 3 if He’s Sure It Will Be 'Better Than Part Two'
Dune 2 director Denis Villeneuve will only make a third and final movie if he's sure it will be as good as its critically acclaimed predecessors.
Director Denis Villeneuve has offered an update on the development of a possible third and final movie in the Dune franchise, declaring that he will not make it if does not promise to be as good (or better) than Dune 2. The sci-fi epic sequel Dune: Part Two has now been released to much acclaim, with many no doubt wondering when we might return to Arrakis but, when speaking with Empire, Villeneuve has hinted that we may have to wait a little while yet.
