When 1000-lb Sisters premiered in 2020, star Tammy Slaton weighed 725 pounds, but she lost over 400 pounds and has been wearing more pattern print clothing than she used to wear before losing weight. Before losing so much weight, Tammy lacked mobility and could barely leave the house. She was basically a prisoner in her own home. Additionally, she was intubated, so she couldn't go far without her oxygen tank and her plethora of tubes.
